WHAT: Nutrioso’s 36th Annual BBQ
WHEN: Tuesday – June 16, 2009 @ 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Nutrioso Community Center
(aka Old School House)
WHY: We need to get organized as soon as possible for
Nutrioso’s biggest fund raiser of the year! We
appreciate your support, your belief in our mission
and your confidence in our efforts on the
community’s behalf. We hope we can count on
your continued support this year. This event
cannot happen without every ones participation,
so please plan on attending this meeting.

The Annual Nutrioso Barbeque — The Last Saturday in July
The first BBQ meeting was held and a good group of folks showed up. Bob Nordman took charge and steered us through each section of the event and what will have to happen this year. The assorted areas of work have been broken into committees such as kitchen, raffles, sopapillas, clean-up crew, set-up crew and other headings.
Sandi Springhower will be overseeing the kitchen and is looking for anyone who wants to help out with food preparation and serving.
Linda Anderson is spearheading the pre-clean so that the building will be ready for all the work that makes the BBQ happen.
Anne Schmitt is going to design and print posters for the event.
Anyone can help out. There are booths to be tended, tickets to be sold, hands to be stamped, garbage to be emptied, sopapilla dough to be made and then deep fried, coleslaw to be made, and much more.
Come on and lend a hand in this big community event. It will be a lot of fun! Watch the bulletin boards for the next BBQ meeting or call Sandi at 928-339-4462.
End-of-the-Trail Rummage Sale
Start pulling the stuff out of the back room or the garage or barn... it's time to bring it together at the Community Center for the annual Rummage Sale. First drop-off date for the rummage sale is May 23, 2009 from 9AM to 11AM.
There will also be a Bake Sale! Call Sandi and sign up to help with the sorting and pricing. You get to see what comes in that way!
